drawing emerged from what began as a doodle using canvas paper and oil
pastels that were from a previously unopened box of art supplies from
1973! I drew the picture and then realized that (I think) its a picture
of the god Thor out fishing with a Giant and they hook and pull up the
World Serpent (an unspeakably enormous snake/dragon thing that encircles
the world underwater and the cause of sea quakes and huge waves). Thor,
always the fighter, flings his hammer at its head and it backs off and
disappears under the sea again.
